Rebel Meetups
Community doesn’t happen unless we build it. Building it requires creating the space to live, be, and do. We created Rebel Meetups to honor our commitment to creating and nurturing a community of individuals who want to live life with the courage of a rebel.
Rebel meetups look like webinars, video meetings, getting coffee together, engaging in deep and meaningful conversations. We hear from our close friends, from our tribe that they don’t get to talk about the matters of their heart, the real stuff that lives inside longing to come out into the light, to be seen and heard by others.
We offer these once a month sessions free to our community. Invite anyone you want to a Rebel Meetup.
The Rebel Meetup Outline:
- Centering practice (5 minutes)
- Group check in, what do you feel? How are you showing up today? (10 minutes)
- Daily focus: concept, practice, meditation, quote or other skill development practice (20 minutes)
- Open discussion (20 minutes)
- Wrap Up (5 minutes)
Schedule & Topics
Developing Rebel Courage™ requires developing, nurturing, and growing your confidence. Confidence is directly proportional to your capacity to fully feel your own unpleasant feelings. If you seek a freer, fuller, more expanded version of yourself, then begin developing your capacity to feel your unpleasant feelings. The webinar, based on 90 Seconds to a Life You Love: How to Master Your Difficult Feelings to Cultivate Lasting Confidence, Resilience, and Authenticity. by. Joan I. Rosenberg, starts with a quick body awareness, body check-in exercise. Then you will bring up an unpleasant feeling, staying with that unpleasant feeling until you can name it, locate it, and fully feel it. Lastly, we will share with the group our experiences.
October 15, 2020 4:00pm (Pacific Time)Knowing your preferences, your habits, your personal quirks and idiosyncrasies is not the same thing as knowing yourself deeply. Knowing yourself begins as an inside job. Although we appear as a singular person, we act as a plurality of personalities. These personalities live within us, often unacknowledged, unseen, and unknown to ourselves. Yet these personalities drive and influence us day to day, hour to hour, minute by minute. In order to live life with the courage of a rebel, you need to get to know the crew members and become the captain of your own experience. During the webinar, we will go inside of ourselves and get to know a few of our crew members.
